Jason Ricci is one of the most remarkable figures of today’s harmonica scene. Born in Portland, Maine, the American harmonica virtuoso and singer has had a chequered career spanning over 3 decades, performing with countless stars of the blues and related styles.

As well as working with artists including Johnny Winter, R.L. Burnside or Walter Trout, since 2002 Ricci has performed and recorded with his bands New Blood and his current outfit, The Bad Kind. In 2016, SPAH voted him Harmonica Player of the Year.

A highly influential harmonica teacher, Jason’s popular YouTube channel features hundreds of free harmonica lessons.
