Programme - Highlights
Saturday, Nov. 6th, 2021
" International Harp Masters "
For the second evening of "United in Music", the online event for fans and supporters of the World Harmonica Festival 2021, many of the artists originally engaged to appear at the festival will be performing either live or by means of concert videos specially recorded for the occasion. We are delighted to be able to present an exciting program featuring a selection of the world’s finest (mainly) diatonic harmonica performers, from young Swedish virtuoso Joel Andersson, to legendary American artists such as Dennis Gruenling, Jason Ricci or Joe Filisko. The show will open with a performance by bluesman Bonny B. from Cambodia/Switzerland and will close with a live set from the Trossingen Music School with Steve Baker and his Band The LiveWires.
The program will also include live interviews with artists immediately prior to their performances. Afterwards, many of them will be available to interact with online visitors in a dedicated Breakout Room, and a virtual bar in a separate Breakout Room will offer festival visitors the opportunity to chat amongst themselves without disturbing the proceedings.
We look forward to welcoming you in person!
